The Portfolio Project has launched a fundraising initiative and awareness campaign for Parkerville Children & Youth Care in collaboration with members of Perth band The City Views who are signed to Nic Dalton’s (Lemonheads) Half A Cow records. Parkerville Children and Youth Care exists to provide advocacy, services and supports to children, young people and families to reduce the impacts of child abuse and in doing so help WA to become the safest place in the world to bring up children.Says Duncan Mah, co-founder, The Portfolio Project, who is part of the music project: “
We grew up loving the song Luka by Suzanne Vega who opened up my world to concept of child abuse and other social issues at the time. We got permission and are raising funds through our cover of Luke to also raise awareness of the most hidden and often forgotten victims and most vulnerable as well.”

It would be greatly appreciated if you can make a child's life better, especially the most innocent. Don't just "Hear something late at night" (Suzanne Vega) and let abuse carry on. Let's make a brighter future for the next generation and give them achance to blossom.
Your donation will gladly be appreciated and make a real difference to a child in needs life.
They thank you in advance.
